Cissia’s Role in the Team

微信图片_20260210143104_588_12.png

Before analyzing the Seed + Cissia combo, it’s important to understand Cissia’s actual role.

She isn’t a traditional main DPS. Instead, she functions as a hybrid Attack support that provides damage amplification and rotation optimization, making her one of the best partners for Electric damage dealers—especially Seed.

Cissia’s main strengths lie in patching the weaknesses of Electric teams, improving their rotation smoothness while raising their overall damage ceiling. After the Version 2 V2 adjustments, her kit has become even more synergistic with Seed, effectively making her the core enabler of the Electric dual-carry setup.

Her enhanced skill grants teamwide Attack and Crit Rate buffs, while her Ultimate restores a large amount of energy to the entire team and extends buff duration.

The V2 changes also adjusted her enhanced skill cost from 60 → 65 Energy, but added 5 Energy refund and direct Steel Energy recovery for Seed. This directly solves Seed’s biggest issue: Steel Energy bottlenecks, allowing Seed to cast enhanced skills and Ultimates much more frequently and enabling a true Ultimate rotation loop.

Another important point is that Cissia’s signature W-Engine is not mandatory. Even Anton’s signature W-Engine can work as an effective substitute, making her quite F2P-friendly.

Why Seed and Cissia Are a Perfect Pair

微信图片_20260305152050_712_12.png

As an S-Rank Electric Attack agent, Seed specializes in high-frequency Electric damage and a unique dual-Attack synergy mechanic.

When paired with another Attack agent, the Attack character with the highest base Attack becomes the “Frontline Unit”, and both characters gain Attack and Crit Damage boosts whenever they use Enhanced Special Skills.

The Version 2.7 V2 adjustments make Cissia almost tailor-made for Seed, maximizing both Seed’s damage ceiling and gameplay smoothness.

1. Trait Synergy – Dual Attack Buff Stacking

One of Seed’s key mechanics is the dual Attack team bonus. Since Cissia is also an Attack-type Electric agent, she naturally triggers this synergy.

When Seed and Cissia are in the same team, they can both become the Frontline Unit and grant each other Attack and Crit Damage buffs through Enhanced Special Skills.

Combine this with:

• Cissia’s teamwide damage buffs
• Her 30% team Crit Damage buff lasting 30 seconds (after V2 adjustment)

This effectively creates triple damage amplification for Seed, dramatically increasing his damage ceiling.

2. Mechanical Complement – Fixing Seed’s Weak Points

Despite Seed’s high damage potential, he has several long-standing weaknesses:

Energy generation is slow, making Ultimate uptime inconsistent.
Against enemies with high Electric resistance, Shock triggers become unreliable.
Steel Energy generation can be unstable, often leaving Seed just short of casting Enhanced Skills.

Cissia’s V2 adjustments solve all of these issues.

Her Ultimate instantly restores team energy, while her Enhanced Special Skill directly restores Steel Energy for Seed. Combined with her energy recovery passive, Seed’s Ultimate cooldown is effectively shortened, allowing him to maintain continuous burst rotations without energy starvation.

In short, Seed finally gains stable resource flow and consistent burst cycles.

3. Smooth Gameplay – Fast-Swap Friendly

The Seed + Cissia combination focuses on fast-swap burst gameplay, making it easy to execute for both new and experienced players.

The basic rotation looks like this:

Cissia enters the field first → apply damage buffs and Crit buffs
Use Enhanced Special Skill → trigger dual-Attack synergy and restore Steel Energy for Seed
Swap to Seed → use Enhanced Special Skill and basic attacks to trigger frequent Shock damage
Finish with Seed’s Ultimate for burst damage

The execution is straightforward and fluid.

Thanks to Cissia’s quick-assist mechanics, swapping becomes seamless. Her buffs also retain up to 60% value while off-field, meaning she doesn’t need long field time—she simply prepares the buffs before Seed’s burst window.

This maximizes Seed’s on-field DPS uptime and significantly improves team efficiency.

Recommended Seed + Cissia Electric Teams

With Seed and Cissia forming the core of the team, here are two recommended compositions for different scenarios in Version 2.7.

1. Premium Electric Burst Team (Maximum Damage)

Seed (Main DPS)
Cissia (Damage Amplifier)
Yaoyin (Support)

Core idea:

Seed handles the primary damage.
Cissia provides damage buffs, energy restoration, Steel Energy support, and dual-Electric imbalance bonuses.
Yaoyin further strengthens team support.

This lineup delivers extremely high burst potential. Thanks to Cissia’s quick-assist mechanics, Yaoyin’s buff set can be refreshed easily.

Early testing suggests this team’s damage ceiling can be over 35% higher than traditional Seed compositions, making it excellent for endgame modes and elite boss fights.

2. Advanced Boss Break Team (High Stun Efficiency)

Seed (Main DPS)
Cissia (Damage Support)
Liuyin (Breaker)

This composition focuses on high-pressure boss encounters with large Stun bars.

Liuyin handles Stun buildup and additional damage bonuses, while the dual-Electric synergy from Seed and Cissia grants a 60% Stun efficiency bonus.

This setup allows the team to trigger Stun states quickly, enabling Cissia’s burst damage during Stun windows.

It also reduces the burden on Liuyin, letting Seed focus on burst punches and Ultimate damage while Cissia contributes strong Stun-phase burst.

This team is especially suitable for experienced players chasing maximum damage output.

Will Electric Teams Finally Rise?

Cissia’s release may mark a turning point for the Electric element.

She isn’t just Seed’s best teammate, but potentially the core enabler of the entire Electric archetype.

With dual Attack synergy, mechanical complementarity, and smooth gameplay, the Seed + Cissia Electric team becomes one of the most promising compositions in the current version.

It offers both high damage potential for veteran players and accessible gameplay for newcomers.

Whether Electric teams fully dominate the meta will depend on future patches and additional Electric agents. However, Cissia already lays a strong foundation for the archetype.

For Seed players, pulling Cissia is definitely worthwhile. She transforms Seed from a strong but inconsistent DPS into a fully optimized Electric carry capable of unleashing his true potential.

Of course, always pull responsibly and plan your resources based on your existing roster. The goal of pulling isn’t just new characters—it’s maximizing the value of the ones you already have.

And in the current version, Cissia might be the most cost-effective upgrade for Seed players.
